A public ceremony will take place this weekend at M.L. McClelland Lodge 357 in Hobart in honor of the Masonic Grand Lodge's 150th anniversary.
Grand Master Rodney A. Mann and other grand lodge officers from the Freemasons in Indiana are scheduled to attend the rededication ceremony, according to a news release.
The lodge, founded in 1867, is the oldest civic organization building in Hobart and one of the oldest buildings in Lake County, the release states.
The Schofield House, a Masonic Grand Lodge in Madison, Indiana, will celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2018.
The lodge is at 219 Center St. in the historic district of Hobart.
The ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday.
