LANSING — A 46-year-old Dixmoor, Illinois, man already on parole for an armed robbery case is now accused of pistol-whipping and robbing a man in the parking lot of the Pioneer Motel.

Curtis Blackmon has been charged with armed robbery for allegedly robbing a 49-year-old man Dec. 7 in the motel's parking lot and fleeing the area in a blue vehicle, according to a news release from the Lansing Police Department.

Blackmon was arrested by Homewood police on a related charge, police said. He was allegedly located in Harvey, Illinois, driving a stolen car matching the description in the armed robbery.

Blackmon allegedly admitted his involvement in the armed robbery, police said.

Blackmon was on parole for a separate armed robbery case and two other cases during the incident.
