MICHIGAN CITY — Police say they have developed suspects who reportedly damaged several cars and businesses in the past few weeks.

Several vehicles had side mirrors broken, according to Michigan City Police Detective Sgt. Ken Havlin.

Vehicles had windows broken out and some business had broken windows, he said. The damage was caused from bottles and other objects.

Havlin declined to say Wednesday where in the city the crimes occurred and generally what time of day the property damages occurred, citing the ongoing investigation.

He urged anyone who notices damage to vehicles or property to contact the police department to file a report. An estimate of damage repair or a copy of a receipt if that repair has already been done is helpful, police said.

Michigan City police can be reached at 219-874-3221.
