HAMMOND — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man believed to have robbed a 49-year-old outside Coach's Corner on July 16. 

The suspect approached the man at about 2:40 a.m. outside of the business in the 6200 block of Kennedy Avenue and pointed a gun at his head, police said

The suspect demanded money and fired three shots, not striking the victim, police said.

The victim said the suspect threw him to the ground and assaulted him before taking off with money and his cell phone, according to police.
