CHICAGO | A man died Saturday in a one-vehicle crash in the 13200 block of South Torrence Avenue in the Hegewisch neighborhood, police said.
The crash happened at 1:26 p.m. Saturday when the car hit a bridge abutment and then caught fire, Chicago police said. The driver was the only person in the vehicle.
There were no other reported injuries. Police had not identified the driver Sunday afternoon.
