Purdue's E'Twaun Moore, an E.C. Central grad, has been named the Co-Big Ten Player of the Week along with Indiana's D.J. White.
Moore averaged 18.0 points in Purdue's two wins over the past week. He scored a team-high 12 points in a win over Iowa and scored a game-high 24 points at Illinois.
Against the Illini, he connected on 10-of-12 shots from the floor and scored 20 points in the second half. Moore went eight-of-nine from the floor during an eight-minute window, which enabled Purdue to maintain the lead down the stretch. Over the two games he was 4-of-9 from 3-point range.
Moore is the second Purdue player to earn Big Ten Player of the Week honors this season. Sophomore Keaton Grant took home the award on Jan. 21.
