INDIANAPOLIS | Gov. Mike Pence is spending most of this week in Aspen, Colo., attending the summer meeting of the Republican Governors Association.
The first-year Hoosier governor left Tuesday for the conference, which features panel discussions on workforce development and job creation as well as international economic relations.
He's due to return to Indianapolis on Friday afternoon.
Pence attended a Republican Governors Association training session for new governors in November shortly after winning election as Indiana's chief executive.
The association also works to elect Republican governors. Currently, 30 of 50 states are governed by a Republican.
