INDIANAPOLIS | Gov. Mike Pence is seeking nominations for his Governor's Service Awards recognizing outstanding volunteerism in Indiana.

Eight awards will be presented to Hoosiers displaying exemplary service through volunteering in the categories of community service, corporate service, youth service, national service, service learning, faith-based service, volunteerism and lifetime achievement.

Hoosiers can nominate themselves or another person using the online form at in.gov/ofbci/awards.htm. Nominations are due July 19.

"I encourage Hoosiers to make a nomination and show their gratitude to a service-minded individual, corporate entity, service-learning group or organization," Pence said.
