INDIANAPOLIS | Three Northwest Indiana state legislators will participate in town hall-style meetings in Hobart and Lake Station on April 6.

State Reps. Charlie Brown, D-Gary, and Shelli VanDenburgh, D-Crown Point, along with state Sen. Earline Rogers, D-Gary, will detail the status of region legislation pending at the Statehouse and take questions during the meetings.

Hobart residents are invited to attend a 9 a.m. session in the council chambers at City Hall, 414 Main St.

At noon, Brown and Rogers will lead a second discussion with their constituents at Lake Station City Hall, 3625 Central Ave.
