Winners of the St. Ann Parish Pot of Gold raffle and fundraiser will be announced at 6 p.m. March 13 in the Parish Hall, 3010 Ridge Road. Must be 21 or older to attend. Winner need not be present. Total amount of ticket sales will determine prize amounts. For 1,250 tickets sold the prizes are, first: $25,000, second: $7,500; for 1,000 tickets sold prizes are, first: $20,00, second: $5,000 and for 750 tickets sold, first: $15,000, second: $3,750. Remaining prizes are constant, no matter how many tickets are sold at: third: $1,000 and fourth through seventh: $500 each.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE CAREER FAIR | University Park
The Office of Career Services at Governors State University is sponsoring a career fair featuring employers in the field of criminal justice. Current students, alumni, and community members interested in finding employment in law enforcement, the criminal justice system, and related fields are encouraged to attend. Potential employers will be on hand from both public and private sectors. The Criminal Justice Career Fair is from 3 to 6:30 p.m. March 25 in the Hall of Governors at Governors State University, 1 University Parkway. While the Criminal Justice Career Fair is free and open to the public, employers who wish to participate must register and pay a registration fee.

Crete Woman's Club will sponsor its third annual No Fools Feast at 6 p.m. April 1 at Banquets at St. George, 528 W. 77th Ave. This dinner event offers monetary prizes from $125 to $2,500, a total of more than $5,000 in prizes with a one in 7.5 chance to win. Monetary winners need not be present. Tickets to the event are $100 and only 150 tickets will be sold. Additional dinner tickets may be purchased for $35. Proceeds support the philanthropic activities sponsored by the Crete Woman's Club in the surrounding area. De La Salle Institute hosts the 19th annual D-Final Event at 6 p.m. April 5 in the Parmer Activity Center, 3434 S. TOUCH-A-TRUCK | Lansing
The Lansing Police Cadets are hosting a touch-a-truck event from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 10 at the Lansing Municipal Airport, Glenwood-Lansing Road and Wentworth Avenue. Overflow parking will be at Bethel Reformed Church. There will be a variety of emergency, construction and heavy equipment to see and touch. There will be a canine demonstration and child car seat safety checks. Minimum donation for admission is $20 for a family, $5 for single admission. Children under 1 year old are free. All proceeds will fund the police cadets attending the 2010 National Law Enforcement Explorers Conference. Event is rain or shine.

FITNESS AND HEALTH EXPO | South Holland
The South Suburban College Fitness Center and South Suburban Overall Body Fitness Club hosts their fourth annual fitness and health expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 13. Admission is free. The expo will feature free health screenings. Demonstrations on step aerobics, martial arts and belly dancing and more will take place from 10 a.m. to noon. Dress to participate, lockers are provided. Guest speakers on nutrition, cancer, fitness and health from noon to 2 p.m. There will be an open house for the fitness center and staff will answer questions on classes, memberships, fitness and nutrition.
