The Forest Preserve District of Will County is providing an extra incentive for dads to relax on Father’s Day.

Dads who show up ready to fish at Monee Reservoir during “Father’s Appreciation Day” from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday will receive one free container of bait. But dads don’t have to fish to get special treatment. Stop by the visitor center, mention you are a father and receive a complimentary gift. No registration is required for “Father’s Appreciation Day.”

Monee Reservoir is located at 27341 Ridgeland Ave., west of Ill. 50 and south of Pauling Road, in Monee. For more information on Monee Reservoir, visit ReconnectWithNature.org or call (708) 534-8499.
