Get ready for another blast of cold air.

Wind chill values could fall below zero this morning as a strong cold front moves into the area, according to the National Weather Service. 

Wind gusts of up to 35 mph were possible Thursday. Wind chill values could fall to minus 10 by mid- to late morning, with the coldest values to the north.

Air temperatures were expected to fall from the low 30s to the teens by later Thursday morning.

Wind chill values could fall to dangerous levels Thursday night into Friday, with values between 10 and 20 below zero predicted.

Snow could return Friday night and again Saturday afternoon into Sunday in Lake, Porter, Newton and Jasper counties, forecasters said. 

In LaPorte County, 1 to 3 inches of snow was expected Thursday night into Friday.

Residents should monitor forecasts for updates, the weather service said.
