DYER | A Burnham man was arrested after a woman said he forced her at gunpoint to get into a car with him.

Rayvon Lollis Jr., 19, was charged Wednesday with three counts of confinement, battery by means of a deadly weapon and battery resulting in bodily injury. He remained Wednesday in the Cook County Jail.

A woman told police Lollis beat her early Monday and dragged her from her Dyer home into his car, according to a news release from the Dyer Police Department. Lollis had a gun and threatened to kill her, the release stated.

Lollis drove the woman to Illinois and then pushed her out of the moving car, according to the release.

The woman had previously dated Lollis.
