CALUMET CITY | A political rally for 1st Ward aldermanic candidate Larry Caballero will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Price's Southern Soul Food and Elegant House, 121 State St., the candidate said.
There will be free food and refreshments and Caballero is expected to speak on his platform. Caballero said he will be tough on crime and big on activities for youth. Alderman Brian Wilson, of the 4th Ward, will attend the event. Wilson is a candidate for mayor who supports Caballero's campaign.
