CALUMET CITY | Calumet City police are investigating a shooting that occurred at 6:10 p.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of Patricia Place and left a Calumet City man wounded.

When police arrived on the scene, they found a man in his 20s shot in the stomach. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in stable condition. A condition update was not available Friday evening.

Police do not have a motive or suspects in the shooting and the case remains under investigation, authorities said.
