MARKHAM | Donol Clark, who faces criminal charges for the death of his live-in girlfriend in Calumet City, had a brief status hearing Friday morning in Cook County Circuit Court.
Clark's case was continued to June 5 for another status hearing.
Clark, 42, faces two counts of murder and one count of concealment of a homicide in the death of Gena Chiodo. Her body was found near Lowell in December, two months after she went missing.
Attorneys for the prosecution and the defense are still in the early stages of discovery, the trading back and forth of information to prepare both sides to go to trial.
