CALUMET CITY | The FBI is asking for the public's help in identifying a man captured on surveillance video who robbed a Calumet City bank Wednesday afternoon.

According to the FBI, a man entered Charter One, 1400 Torrence Ave., around 9:15 a.m., announced a robbery and fled with an unknown amount of money. Authorities said the man did not display a weapon.

The man is described is a black male between the ages of 30 and 40, between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses and a red shirt at the time of the crime.

The FBI is asking anyone with information about the man or the crime to contact the FBI's Chicago office at (312) 421-6700.
