Poor Eli's Helpers last fish fry for the season is from 2 to 8 p.m. April 15 at Paul Price Amvets Post No. 43, 14032 Torrence Ave. Walleye, lake perch, shrimp, frog legs, blue gills, scallops, smelt, chicken, and the Poor Eli's Captain Platter Combo (perch, shrimp, frog legs and scallops). Dinner includes cole slaw, cottage cheese, homemade potato salad, fries, bread and coffee. Dinner prices starting at $7 and up. Carry-outs available. Public welcome.

Lenten Fish Fry | Calumet City
American Legion Memorial Post 330 will host its annual Lenten fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. every Friday through Good Friday, April 22, at 950 Legion Drive. The menu will consist of cod, lake perch, shrimp, and chicken tenders.

Fish Fry | Dyer
A Lenten fish fry takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. today at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Drive. Adult dinner is $12 and includes baked or fried white fish, broasted potatoes, tater tots, macaroni and cheese and and all-you-can-eat salad bar. Coffee and iced tea are included. Child's dinner includes chicken nuggets, tater tots, macaroni and cheese and salad bar. Tickets are $6 for children 6 to 12, free for younger children. Cash bar and bake sale available.

Hammond Mohawks Fish Fries | Hammond
Hammond Mohawks fish fries are from 4 to 7 p.m. Fridays through April 22 at 4040 Calumet Ave. All-you-can-eat white fish with sides, $9; fried shrimp dinner, $10; frog leg dinner, $9; combo platter fish, shrimp and frog legs, $11 and new this year walleye dinner, $10. All dinners include macaroni and cheese, French fries, coleslaw, salad and bread, butter and dessert.

Fish, Shrimp and Homemade Pierogi | Hobart
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church hosts their final Lenten fish fry of the season from 4 to 7 p.m. today in Assumption Hall, 3530 Illinois St., in Hobart/New Chicago. Fish dinners are $8, shrimp dinners are $9, a combo dinner with fish, shrimp and pierogi is $9. Homemade potato, sweet cheese or kraut pierogi will also be available for $8 a dozen or $4 for a half-dozen. Pop, beer and wine will also be available. Knights Fish Fry | Hobart
St. Thomas Council 1347 Knights of Columbus will serve its last Lenten fish fry dinner of the season from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the St. Bridget Parish Center, Second and Main streets. Choices include smelt, ocean or lake perch, pollock, shrimp, catfish and a fisherman's platter, all including potato, salad bar, bread and coffee. Dinner prices range from $8.50 to $15, and children 8 and younger pay half-price for fish or choose from $4.25 children's menu.

Fish/Shrimp Fry | Portage
Nativity of Our Savior Parish hosts its last Lenten fish fry of the season from 4 to 7 p.m. today in the Nativity Parish Hall, 2929 Willowcreek Road. Enjoy freshly prepared fish or shrimp dinners, both with potato, vegetable, salad bar and coffee. Cost is $9 for fish and $10 for shrimp for adults, and half-price for children. Homemade potato, cheese and kraut pierogi will also be available, along with a cash bar.

Fish-n-More Fridays | Schererville
Fish-n-More Fridays serves dinner from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Descent of the Holy Spirit Orthodox Church, 545 E. 77th Ave. Pollock, shrimp, tilapia, catfish, chicken strips, ethnic dinners (cabbage roll, haluski and pierogi), potato pancakes and pizza puffs are available. Dinners are served with French fries, macaroni and cheese or haluski (cabbage and noodles), coleslaw, bread and butter and coffee. Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 356 W. 700 N., (South Haven), is hosting a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. every Friday during Lent. Cost is $9 for all-you-can-eat fish, and $11 for shrimp and all-you-can-eat fish. Children's dinners are $5. An assortment of vegetables, salads, breads, pudding and gelatin will also be available.
