JOLIET | Joliet police are searching for a Calumet City man missing for more than a week from Harrah's Casino and Hotel, according to a news release.
Henry Chunn, 69, of Calumet City, is black, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 165 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, dark jeans, blue and gray gym shoes and a black baseball hat with "NAVY" in yellow on the front.
Chunn was last seen on security surveillance video walking out of Harrah's Casino around noon Oct. 17 and then heading westbound over the Cass Street bridge, police said.
Police said Chunn and his wife were staying at the Harrah's Casino hotel and she last saw him at 9 a.m. Oct. 17 when she left to get them breakfast. When she returned, he was gone.
Victoria Chunn told police her husband had been depressed and does not take his medication, police said. Chunn does not leave his residence for long periods of time, police said, contrary to previous published reports. Police said Chunn's lengthy absence is highly unusual.
Police said Chunn was not carrying any money or a cell phone and they have not gotten any tips on his whereabouts.
