CHICAGO HEIGHTS | State Rep. Anthnoy DeLuca, D-Chicago Heights, is seeking residents of the 80th District to become members of his local Citizen Advisory Committees.

"Hearing the thoughts and opinions of my constituents is vital in order to do the best job possible when representing the 80th District," DeLuca said in a prepared statement. "These committees have been an important part of the community for the past four years, and are currently reorganizaing due to redistricting."

Committees on agriculture, economic development, education, health care and women's issues, labor, parks and recreation, public safety and senior citizens are available for 80th District residents.

All residents, regardless of political affiliation, are welcome to join by calling DeLuca's office at (708) 754-7900.

The 80th District includes all or parts of Chicago Heights, Flossmoor, Frankfort, Glenwood, Homewood, Manhattan, Matteson, Monee, Mokena, New Lenox, Olympia Fields, Park Forest,  South Chicago Heights, University Park and Wilmington.
