CHICAGO HEIGHTS | Police are questioning two suspects in the stabbing death of a man found dead in the apartment building where he lived early Friday morning.

Levar Stepney, 35, of the Thornwood Apartments at 19460 Glenwood Road, was found dead by police and paramedics responding to a report of a stabbing there at 2:39 a.m., according to Detective Sgt. Joseph Bruni.

The Cook County medical examiner's office is expected to deliver its death investigation report by Saturday, Bruni said.

On Friday, witnesses were being interviewed along with two possible suspects, according to police. The South Suburban Major Crimes Task force is aiding in the investigation.
