LANSING | A Dolton man was arrested Wednesday and is accused of trafficking a minor for sex at a Lansing hotel, the Cook County Sheriff's Office said. 

Guillaume Thomas, 22, was charged with involuntary sexual servitude and trafficking in persons, according to a release from the sheriff's office. His bond was set at $1 million Saturday during a court appearance.

Thomas was arrested after undercover officers responded to an advertisement on and met the girl at a Lansing hotel, according to the release. is a website for free classifieds.

Police said officers discovered at the hotel that Thomas was prostituting the girl. He was arrested by Lansing police and the Cook County Sheriff's Office vice unit.

The girl, whose age was not released, is back with her family, according to the release. She also is receiving aid from the sheriff's office women's justice programs.

Thomas has a court appearance Tuesday.

The sheriff's office said the arrest was part of a police effort to fight prostitution in the suburbs.
