CHICAGO | Cub Scouts of Pack 773, who meet at Annunciata Parish on the city's East Side, served as color guard for the opening ceremony at the Hegewisch Babe Ruth Field at the end of May.

The Scouts presented the colors and hoisted the American Flag. The Scouts have been asked to return to serve as color guard at the American Cancer Society Southeast Chicago Relay for Life on July 12 at Wolf Lake. The Scouts will assist with the luminaria service honoring lives lost and those still battling cancer. The Scouts will also be selling s'mores to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
