East Side Scouts learn about nature

Jerry Attere, of the Cook County Forest Preserve District, allows the Scouts to be hands on with the pelts of varying animals. Nicolas Gomez holds a hawks claw, while brothers Elijah and Liam Bermejo and Anthony Moreno listen to Attere provide some interesting facts about the deer antler. John Pastrik, Martha Moreno and Sal Garcia listen and learn right alongside the Scouts.
