CHICAGO | Cub Scouts of Pack 773 enjoyed a day of outdoors activities on June 29 at Wolf Lake.
The cool, wet weather didn't put a damper on their outing and proved to make things a bit more dirty for these Scouts. The Scouts hiked through a peninsula on the lake. They then planted trees in the area they have been maintaining at the Living Memorial. The Scouts enjoyed lunch and finished the day with fishing — many for the first time.
The Scouts will earn a patch for fishing and tree planting. If you have a child aged 7-11 interested in "getting outside and dirty" contact Cubmaster Joe Cordero at email@example.com.
