CHICAGO | The Southeast Lions hosted a mini health fair on June 23 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 3200 E. 91st St., in South Chicago.

A total of 22 attendees received free screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes and seven were given prostate tests by Advocate Trinity Hospital staff members. Jackie Rouse, community health promotion manager, and Nicole Miles, community outreach assistant, performed the tests.

Lourdes Ladlad, the community liaison for Dimension Health Care Services, dispensed information to help seniors maintain their health and independence with a network of assistance. Participants were given fliers and contact information: (847) 630-3715 or
