CRETE | The Crete Public Library’s Youth Services Department recently held an underwater adventure program, A Visit to Nemo’s Home, presented by Wayne and Karen Brown, of The Ocean Adventure.

The Browns combined talents and achievements include marine biology, naturalists, expedition leaders, artists, both are authors, lecturers, storytellers, educators, scuba diving instructors, and award-winning underwater photographers.

The captivated audience enjoyed learning the biology of the Australian Great Barrier Reef plus an introduction and demonstration of the specialized equipment used in the underwater adventures. On display and to try on were scuba equipment and underwater scooters. The Browns shared their beautiful underwater photography from their expeditions.
