CRETE | The Crete Public Library’s Children’s Department held a fun-filled holiday craft program for children ages 5 and 6 on Dec. 13.

Librarian Bethann Matthias entertained the children with stories, fun activities and crafts.

Children made snowmen out of socks they stuffed and formed with soft batting and trimmed with ribbons and pom-poms. Children enjoyed putting together the hot chocolate jars layered with coco mix, marshmallows and peppermints.

Each child took home a handmade decoration for their home plus a gift for someone special.
