CRETE | During a recent Crete Public Library program, “Along the Chicago South Shore Rail Line," historian Cynthia Ogorek presented interesting stories and facts about the last electric interurban rail, the Chicago South Shore and South Bend rail lines.

Ogorek explained how an electric train works and shared some of the historic sites that can be seen from the train as you travel from Millennium Station in Chicago to the Michiana Airport Terminal in South Bend.
