CRETE | The Crete Woman's Club recently awarded scholarships to graduates of Crete-Monee High School.

Jordan Clanton will attend St. Xavier University with a major in criminal justice and a minor in forensic accounting. He hopes to go to law school after he earns his bachelor's degree. He received a $500 scholarship. Leanne Horvath will attend Prairie State College with a major in nursing and a minor in biological science. She received $2,000. Kheumani Stevenson will attend the University of Illinois at Chicago to study nursing. She also received $2,000.
