CRETE | The following programs, unless otherwise indicated, are held at the Crete Park District’s Willard Wood Center, 515 First St. Registration is required for all programs at the Willard Wood Center or online unless otherwise indicated. PEE WEE PE

The Crete Park District has created a very special gym class just for little ones ages 3 to 5. We’ll keep them busy and happy in this fun program full of sports, games and exercise. It takes place from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Tuesdays at the Crete Elementary Gym and the next session will run Feb. 5 to 26. The fee is $28 for residents of Crete Park District and $42 for nonresidents.

VALENTINES BY YOU!

Mr. Mike will be at the Crete Park District to show kids ages 7 to 12 how to make hand-made Valentines. This class takes place from 4 to 4:45 p.m. Feb. 1.  The fee is $6 for residents of Crete Park District and $9 for nonresidents.

ADULT, CHILD, INFANT CPR WITH AED AND FIRST AID TRAINING

Ray Tarnow, from TNT Corp., will be at the Crete Park District to provide CPR, First Aid and AED training for ages 11 and up. Class is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 2. The fee is $55 for certification from TNT. If you require American Red Cross Certification there is an additional $27 fee. Please bring a lunch to class.

HOME SCHOOL FITNESS

The Crete Park District has created a new fitness class just for home schoolers in kindergarten through sixth grade from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. on Mondays. The next session will run Feb. 4 to 25. The fee is $20 for residents of Crete Park District and $30 for nonresidents.

KIDS BOOT CAMP

Help your kids get preconditioned for their sports leagues by signing them up for Crete Park District’s boot camp. This program is for ages 8 to 12 and takes place from 5 to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. The first session will run Feb. 4 to 27. The fee is $80 for residents of Crete Park District and $85 for nonresidents.
