CRETE | The winner of this year's Crete Park District Road Rally on Oct. 13 is the VanZyl/Parrish team, which has won the event the last three years, the park district has announced.
The VanZyl/Parrish team won this year's event by a mere 1.6 points ahead of the second place team of Heavner/Vanderwall. In the Road Rally, teams of adults follow clues in the treasure hunt in their car. All nine teams returned on time and had fun in the contest.
The evening ended with a pizza party and congratulations. Awards were only given to the top two teams.
