CRETE | The Crete Park District offers rental of Easterday Hall for family reunions, showers, weddings, meetings and parties.

Easterday Hall is located in the Willard Wood Park Center, 515 First St., and is fully accessible, offers a kitchen, restaurant-quality coffee pots and tables and chairs. The area is family friendly with high chairs and the building is located in Crete Park, making it easy for the kids to go play outside. It also has high center ceilings, making it possible to rent a bounce house and put it inside in case of poor weather.

Visit the park office or call (708) 672-6969 to see what is available. To guarantee your rental, you must complete a rental form, present a valid driver's license and pay the $150 security deposit. This security deposit is required to hold your spot and is nonrefundable in case of a cancellation. If the building is returned to pre-rental condition, the $150 security deposit will be returned the following Monday.

In addition to the security deposit, there is an hourly fee which is $35 for residents of Crete Park District and $50 for nonresidents. Minimum rental time is four hours. All rental times must include set up, decorating and cleanup. The building is not open on the weekends, except for rental times. Fire place permits are optional and can be purchased for $20 for residents and $30 for nonresidents. Also optional are alcohol permits which are available for those who wish to serve alcohol at their party for $60 for residents and $100 for nonresidents.

Residents of Crete Park District receive a discount because they pay taxes to the district. If you are unsure of your resident status, check your tax bill or call Crete Park District. All hourly, alcohol and fireplace fees are due one month before rental date. For more rental details, visit Cretepark.com or call Crete Park District at (708) 672-6969.
