CRETE | The Crete Woman's Club will award $6,000 in scholarships this spring.

The club is offering eight summer camp scholarships in the amount of $250 each to students who are currently in the ninth, 10th and 11th grades and who reside in Crete Township. The areas of interest must be music, athletics, art, drama or educational enrichment. Camp applications will be available in the guidance offices of Crete-Monee, Iliana Christian, Illinois Lutheran, Bloom Trail and Marian Catholic high schools as well as on the club website.

In addition, two, $2,000 college scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors who attend Crete-Monee High School and who will be attending an accredited institution of higher learning.

Contact the Crete-Monee High School guidance department for the college applications or cretewomansclub.org for information and applications on all scholarships. The deadline for submission of applications is April 19.
