CRETE | St. James Manor and Villas will host a community End of Summer Fling from noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 18.

Attendee parking is sponsored by The Bible League on the corner of Richton Road and Ill. 394, with a complimentary St. James Manor and Villas shuttle running continuously throughout the event from the parking area to the event venue.

The community event features an all-night slowly cooked pig roast feast complete with all of the trimmings, fresh popcorn and homemade cotton candy, for a meal cost of $5 per person. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

Attendees are invited to enjoy a classic car show, with Five Star DJ and Karaoke playing all of the top oldies hits. All makes and models of sports, custom, and classic cars and motorcycles are invited to join in the fun as an entry in the show. Each participant will receive a complimentary meal, goodie bag and VIP parking spot.

In addition to the fun a 50/50 raffle will take place to benefit the Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's, in which St. James Manor and Villas is a community sponsor.
