DOLTON | A jackknifed semi temporarily closed all southbound lanes of the Bishop Ford Freeway at Sibley Boulevard Wednesday morning.

Illinois State Police said the semi initially blocked the two right lanes just before 7 a.m., but troopers had to close all lanes to remove it.

Traffic was able to squeeze by in the left lane at 7:45 a.m. By 9:30 a.m., all lanes were open.

The accident caused lengthy delays on the southbound Bishop Ford.
