GLENWOOD | Brookwood Elementary District 167 is surveying parents online as the School Board begins its search for a new superintendent for the 2013-14 school year.

After eight years at the helm, Superintendent Pamela Hollich is retiring. The School Board has contracted with the Illinois Association of School Boards to conduct the search for the new superintendent.

The district invites all parents and community stakeholders to participate in a survey at, which will be available until midnight Jan. 24.

Representatives from the IASB also will conduct a focus group at 7 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Brookwood Middle School gymnasium, 200 E. Glenwood-Lansing Road, to gather more information from community members regarding the search.
