LYNWOOD | Glenwood-Lynwood Public Library Youth Services Assistant Joelle Wake asked the library's Science Club members if a candy bar will sink or float in water as part of the club's regular monthly meeting.

The young people also had to identify unwrapped candy bars.

The Science Club is for students in third through sixth grade and meets from 6 to 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month at the Glenwood-Lynwood Public Library, 19901 Stony Island Ave. No registration required and walk-ins welcome.

Students will explore chemistry, engineering, physics and biology. The next meeting is Feb. 19.
