GLENWOOD | Winners in the village's annual Holiday Decorating Contest were announced at Wednesday's Village Board meeting.
The first-place prize of $100 went to Robert Goldsmith, 1018 E. 193rd Place. The second-place prize of $75 was awarded to John Buxbaum, Jr., 49 N. Oak Lane. The third-place finisher and winner of $50 is Nancy Kanger, 122 N. Rebecca Street.
Senior Center Director JoAnne Alexander led the committee that ran the competition.
She said the contest is a way for the village to say thanks for all of the beautiful decorating residents do.
