Beloit, Wis., police arrested a Harvey man wanted for homicide, police said Saturday.
Tevon Marley, 29, whose last known address is in Harvey, was arrested at a Beloit residence at 1:30 p.m. Saturday on a first degree intentional homicide warrant, according to police in a news release.
Marley had hid himself in an attic, but officers talked him out of hiding before taking him into custody without incident.
Police said Marley is wanted in the homicide of a Chicago man that took place in Beloit in November. Police had found Ricky Sims Jr., 19, of Chicago, with multiple gunshot wounds when responding to a call of a shooting victim. Sims was transported to a local hospital but died during surgery.
Marley is being held in the Rock County Jail in Wisconsin pending his initial court appearance, police said.
