Beloit, Wis., police are looking for a Harvey man who is a suspect in a fatal shooing Sunday morning in that town, police said.

Tevon Marley, 28, whose last known address is in Harvey, is wanted for first degree intentional homicide and is considered armed and dangerous, according to a news release.

Marley is also a suspect in an April 5 attempted homicide in Beloit, the release states.

At about 11:22 a.m. Sunday, Beloit police and Fire Department paramedics responded to the 700 block of Merrill Street for a report of a shooting victim. They found Ricky Sims Jr., 19, of Chicago, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Sims was taken to an area hospital but died during surgery, the release states.

Police said their investigation revealed the shooting occurred on a terrace at the Merrill Street location and Sims was found in a nearby yard. Neither Sims nor Marley had any association with the shooting location and had arrived in two separate vehicles.

Anyone with information to Marley's whereabouts is asked to call the Beloit Police Department at (608) 364-6801 or Beloit Crime Stoppers at (608) 362-7463.
