HARVEY | Police arrested two convicted felons and seized drugs and a gun during a raid on a suspected drug operation being run out of a home in Harvey.

Harvey police assisted by an Illinois state trooper and a police dog executed a search warrant Thursday at the home, 14738 S. Honore St.

Police at the scene uncovered 11 grams of cannabis, six grams of heroin, 1.1 grams of crack cocaine and 65 grams of raw cocaine, according to a statement from police spokeswoman Sandra Alvarado.

Also found at the scene were a .38 special revolver and 1,000 rounds of live ammunition, police said.

Authorities on Thursday charged Jarvis Brown, 34, of Harvey with the possession, manufacturing and delivery of drugs, in connection with the raid, Alvarado said.

Norvell Allen, 54, of Harvey, was charged with armed violence and the possession, manufacturing and delivery of drugs, also in connection with the raid, Alvarado said.

Brown and Allen are convicted felons, Alvarado said.

The raid was the result of an investigation tagged "No Honor on Honore."
