HARVEY | Two Harvey men face drug and weapons charges following an undercover investigation and raid by the Harvey Police Department's Special Operations Unit, according to a news release.
Jarvis A. Brown, 34, who is a convicted felon, is charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of cannabis.
Norvell Allen, 54, who is also a convicted felon, is charged with armed violence, possession of cannabis, possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.
On Thursday, the Special Operations Unit with the assistance of the Illinois State Police and their K-9 officer conducted a raid at a home in the 14700 block of Honore Street, the release states.
Officers recovered 11 grams of cannabis, 6 grams of heroin, 1.1 grams of cocaine in the form of crack and 65 grams of raw cocaine. In addition, officers recovered a .38 special revolver and 1,000 rounds of various caliber live ammunition, according to the release.
