HARVEY | The foursome led by Al Evers, of Evers Realty Group in St. John, won first place in the 17th annual golf tournament on Sept. 16 sponsored by Restoration Ministries at the Midlothian Country Club, according to a news release.
A total of 23 foursomes participated and more than $47,000 was raised to support Restoration Ministries' 22 outreach programs, including its youth development programs, food pantry and Christian-based residential programs for recovering addicts.
Platinum sponsors of the outing included Ronnie Colosimo and Oak Lawn Toyota, McGrath Lexus of Westmont and Chicago, Ozinga Bros. Inc., of Mokena, Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc., and Parkview Chiristian Church of Orland Park.
Restoration Ministries is located in Harvey and offers youth programs, a food pantry and residential treatment programs at its Harvey House and Tabitha House for recovering drug addicts.
