HARVEY | State Rep. Will Davis, D-Homewood, will host a community exposition along with the Illinois Department of Corrections and the Illinois Department of Public Health to help parolees and probationers transition back into society and reduce recidivism.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Thornton High School field house, 15001 Broadway Ave.

The Summit of Hope Expo will bring local service providers together to help individuals who have recently been released from prison. Services include identification cards, primary health care referrals, screening for blood pressure, vision, HIV testing and care, and information on counseling, transportation, food, shelter, child support services, employment services, education/training services and more.
