HARVEY | The 15th annual fashion show and dinner to benefit Restoration Ministries’ Tabitha House will take place March 19 at the Serbian Social Center, 18550 Stony Island Ave. in Lansing.
The theme for this year’s show is “Chicago ... My Kind of Town.” Tickets are $45 and tables of 10 are available. More than 400 women are expected to attend the fashion show, which begins at 6 p.m. with a reception and hourlong instant raffle. Dinner is at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8.
Located in South Holland, Tabitha House is a safe, loving home for women with histories of drug addiction. During their time in this free 18-month program, women overcome their addictions, build employment, parenting and life skills, reunite with their families, and break the cycles of addiction and poverty.
Graduates of the Tabitha House Program are the featured models along with Restoration Ministries’ volunteers. In addition, teachers from Elim Christian School who bring Elim students to volunteer at Restoration Ministries are also modeling. Cache in Orland Square Mall and Dress Barn in Homewood will be providing the fashions.
To reserve your tickets and for more information, call (708) 333-3370 or go to www.restorationministries.net. Ad space is available in the evening’s program book and donations of raffle prizes would be appreciated.
