HARVEY | The Thornton Alumni Legacy Fund and Thornton Township High School announce the fourth annual Alumni Day/Hall of Fame celebration on May 3.

The event begins at 12:30 p.m. with a reception in the Thornton Township High School auditorium, 15001 Broadway Ave. At 1:30 p.m. alumni, faculty and students will honor the Hall of Fame inductees with keynote speaker, the Honorable Lorna Propes '62, a 2010 Hall of Fame inductee.

At 3 p.m. participants will tour the high school, including the Navistar Diesel Program and will view the high school senior project presentations in the Technical Building.

At 4 p.m. the cocktail hour will begin at the Idlewild Country Club, 19201 Dixie Highway in Flossmoor. Dinner and dancing begins at 5 p.m. The evening includes a formal awards presentation to the Hall of Fame inductees with a special tribute to Dan Ustian, '68, a 2010 Hall of Fame inductee.

Tickets cost $10 for the reception at the school only; $60 for dinner only and $600 for a table of 10; $70 for the reception and dinner.

Make checks payable to the TALF/Alumni Day and indicate if payment includes a sponsorship, which range from $50 to $5,000.
