CALUMET TOWNSHIP | Two men face first-degree murder charges in the death of a 35-year-old Markham man who was found dead in Calumet Township, near Blue Island, police said.*

Brandon Johnson, 27, of Harvey, and Lester Larkin, 25, of Riverdale, were charged Sunday and were being held Monday without bail, according to a release from the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

Police found Eddie Bell dead April 16 in the area of the 13800 block of South Thornton Road, police said. He had multiple gunshot wounds. 

He had been reported missing in Harvey, and he was last seen at Johnson's residence. On March 30, officers searched Johnson's house on the 14000 block of South Hoyne and found blood, weapons and cleaning materials, according to the release.
