HOMEWOOD | The Homewood Village Board on Tuesday directed staff to draft an ordinance creating a Class 4B liquor license for the Dragon Inn restaurant.

The license would stipulate that no video gaming devices will be allowed at the location.

The restaurant, formerly located in Glenwood, is expected to open at 2057 Ridge Road either this month or next.

Also at Tuesday's meeting, David Ebert was sworn in as assistant director of Public Works. Ebert has worked for the village since 1980.
