HOMEWOOD | Take advantage of more than 30 free health screenings at the 31st annual Family Health Fair on March 23 at James Hart School.
Sponsored by the Homewood Rotary Club and Ingalls Health System, the 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. fair features an array of free screenings, including total cholesterol; 12-lead EKGs (for people over 30 years); cancer screenings for skin, colon, oral and breast; osteoporosis, arthritis, back and joint pain screenings; allergy tests; vision exams; hearing screenings; mini massages; and more.
A $10 lipid profile (which requires a 12-hour fast) also will be offered, along with many other discounted blood tests, including prostate, thyroid and glucose screenings.
Register ahead at Ingalls.org/HealthFair for separate lines and a shorter wait time. All are welcome; there are no residency restrictions.
